I found this story very interesting....

Rusty Wallace has often been plagued by a lack of horsepower at Superspeedways, but his Penske South Ford is flying this year. The team loaned an engine to Rusty's brother Kenny on Saturday and helped the No. 81 Ford qualify 18th fastest, then loaned one to Jeremy Mayfield's No. 37 Ford for Tuesday's qualifying and helped that team move up 18 spots to 20th on the overall speeds list. ``You've got to help your friends,'' said Robin Pemberton, Wallace's crew chief.

With the trouble Rusty has had at the Superspeedways you have to feel good about what Penske has done to improve it. And I predict that if he can finish decent at Talladega and Daytona he will make a run at the title.

Sterling Marlins troubles continue as his second round of qualifying was worse than his original time. When asked Sterlin says that he feels that his team was "caught with there pants down" with the new spring rule. He feels that come race time he will improve.

For those who were wondering about this rule, they hang 75 pounds on the each side of the car and if drops below a certain point they must put a stiffer spring in.
