Kurt Busch (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger)

COMMENTS ON PRACTICE SESSION? "Practice went good. We have done so much testing as of late it's finally good to be on the clock against other cars. We feel like our Miller Lite Dodge is very solid. It's right in the middle of the pack, and we think we can improve a little bit on that this next practice."

COMMENTS ON THE WEATHER CONDITIONS? "The wind is the biggest thing. Whether its temperature or overcast, the wind is still more important and we look forward to a nice run with no wind. Right now it's gusting, but we go out late tomorrow."

COMMENTS ON THE CHANGES TO THE CAR NOSE "So far so good. The balance is where we'll see more of the nose changes in the race. Qualifying still is about right where it has been before, but we hope we've got the down force where we need it during the race."

COMMENTS ON THE OUTLOOK FOR 2007 "The team with Roy McCauley as the crew chief, it's the second year around for him and the team. We hope we can still continue our success for qualifying day. We sat on six poles last year. We hope to improve there, and we want to improve on our consistency in the race. We felt like we had short tracks pretty good, and speedways and road courses, we just have to work on those mile-and-a-half tracks and we'll be better off.

DAVID STREMME (No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Charger)

COMMENTS ON PRACTICE SESSION "The wind picked up this afternoon, or as the session went on and we picked up on the second time, so we feel we really benefited from it. The Coors Light Dodge is pretty good. I mean, we repeated what we'd done in practice down here and we feel we have a shot at a top 5, I don't know about a pole."

COMMENTS ON THE WEATHER CONDITIONS EFFECT ON THE TRACK "Our car picked up so we know we had a good change there. Some guys aren't picking up so we'll just have to wait and see. They have to go through that room and then that will tell a story come tomorrow."

COMMENTS ON THE CHANGES TO THE CAR NOSE "The nose is awesome. I mean it has helped out tremendously. I think obviously the Dodges are a lot faster compared to the Talladega race last year and it's good. And also the horsepower is good too. They did a lot of work in the engine shop."

Scott Riggs (No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger)

COMMENTS ON STARTING POSITION "It's not too big of an importance. We just want to make sure we go out there and have a good car. We play with that car a lot to try to make our car drive well in a big pack and that's what you want. You want to have a car that races well. Starting up front, I am not really sure if it is an advantage or disadvantage. The guys at the back get a chance to see how their cars pull up early in the race as they weave through traffic, where I am going to be already at the front and not really having a good idea of what the car is going to do back there in traffic until I get back there. So it's not that important."

COMMENTS ON THE PRESSURE THIS YEAR VERSUS LAST YEAR COMING INTO THE BUD SHOOTOUT "Obviously we had a lot of pressure of being a brand new team coming into this race last year, but at the same time we probably have more pressure on ourselves this year because we want to do it even better and prove ourselves even more this year."

OUTLOOK FOR THE 2007 SEASON "We have high expectations. We think we can absolutely improve on anything we did last year and have a lot better car and team then we had last year being a brand new team. I think that our confidence in each other, and our confidence as a race team as a whole, will start to exude out across the race track and have a lot better and more consistent finishes."

COMMENTS ON THE CHANGES TO THE CAR NOSE "This is what we have been shooting for all this time. This is the kind of car nose we wanted, and to finally get that and get what we want I feel like this is the right balance for our car."
