The season is finally over. It has been a long one on one hand and not so bad on the other. The sponsorship from Prodigy has helped a bunch. When you look at the cars that went home from Atlanta sometimes you are just glad to be in the show. I hate to see any regualrs go home. These teams are traveling all over the country putting on the show week in and week out and they get knocked off by teams just getting ready for a race here and there. I hope something can be worked out for next year to give some consideration to the guys there each week. As far as Atlanta, you could see it coming during qualifying. Cars that normally don't run were posting good times and the guys in the back were in bad shape because if they knocked somebody out it was a regular. We had a good lap in qualifying ...about what we practiced at all day. The field is so close that a half a tenth would have locked us in the first day. As far as the race, we ran pretty good all day. We got one set of tires that really hurt us in the middle of the race. The motor ran well but the car started to go away from us a little bit and we couldn't quite catch back up to it with adjustments during the race. We are making some changes to our cars for next year that will help to make adjustments easier during the race. A lot of people are e-mailing asking about the off-season. There really isn't an off season. Right now we are busier than we were at the end of the season. We are cutting up most of our bodies to fit the new quarter panel rule next season. We are looking to build 4 new cars for next year. We are also putting an addition on our building to give us some more room to move around in here. We are in the process of talking to sponsors about next year, including Prodigy. I heard Dwayne on the phone today and I am glad he can keep it all srtaight because it is like putting together a puzzle. You can't say yes to this guy because it may conflict with that guy an on and on. I think we are going to be in good shape for next year.....I hope. I will keep you posted regarding testing and any other developments this year.

Thanks, Dave #71
