Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet in the STP 400. The Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) team looks to continue its steady climb in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) point standings with a solid finish at Kansas Speedway.

TBR AT KANSAS – The STP 400 will mark TBR’s second start at the 1.5-mile track. JJ Yeley drove the No. 36 in TBR’s sole start. He started 39th and finished 42nd with electrical problems.

BLANEY AT KANSAS – Blaney will make his 10th start this weekend at Kansas Speedway. He scored his best finish of 10th in his first start at the speedway in 2001. He wheeled to his best starting spot of 17th in 2006.

ACCELL CONSTRUCTION – Accell Construction will return to the No. 36 Chevrolet this weekend for the STP 400. Short for acceleration, Accell Construction has a 20-year history of finishing civil construction projects on time or early. The Oklahoma-based company sponsored TBR at Phoenix, Las Vegas, Bristol and Texas this season. For more information, visit accellconstructioninc.com.

KIDS EAT FREE – TBR will compete to feed America’s families again this weekend, as Golden Corral returns to the No. 36 TBR Chevrolet. If the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet finishes in the top-10 in the STP 400, kids eat free (with an adult purchase) on Monday, June 6th. Golden Corral will also donate $5,000 to the DAV.

CHASSIS NO. 78 – Blaney will drive the No. 78 chassis this weekend at Kansas Speedway. The Accell Construction team last ran the No. 78 at Richmond International Raceway and finished 13th, the team’s best finish.

IN THE POINTS – The 27th-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600 extended the TBR team’s lead over 36th and kept the team 32nd in the NSCS Owners Point Standings. Blaney also held onto the 31st spot in NSCS Driver Points, 22 points behind David Gilliland in 30th.
