Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) looks to turn the team's luck around in Vegas. Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) this weekend. The team looks for a solid finish in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Kobalt Tools 400 Sunday, March 6th to propel TBR into the top-35 in owner points.
CHASSIS NO. 802 -- Chassis No. 802 was utilized last week at Phoenix as the backup car. The team also ran this chassis in the 2010 NSCS season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
IN THE POINTS -- Headed into LVMS, the No. 36 TBR Chevrolet sits in the 39th spot in owner points, five points outside the top-35 with three races before the field is set by 2011 points. With the new rule that a driver can only race for points in one series, Blaney is 36th in driver points.
