Menard on racing at Darlington Raceway in the Sprint Cup Series:
"Last weekend at Richmond was tough, we fought that car the entire weekend, it didn't seem like anything we threw at it seemed to work. This weekend is completely new and we have a brand new setup for the race at Darlington. While my track record doesn't show it, I enjoy racing at Darlington and look forward to the race. It's cool that we are able to race Darlington on a Saturday night. There is so much history at that track and it truly is a place where you can't race the other cars, you have to race the track.
"Hopefully we can have a much better run than last week and earn back some of the points that we've lost. I know Larry (Carter) and all the guys on the team are doing a great job, we just missed something last weekend and I'm confident we'll have a better run in Darlington."
Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at Darlington Raceway:
"Darlington is one of my favorite race tracks. I grew up not to far north of Darlington and can remember some great races there in the past. After they repaved Darlington last year, the track changed a bit, but not too much to where the setups are that much different. We learned a lot there last year and we'll put that to use over this weekend. We didn't have the best weekend in Richmond, but I'm sure this weekend in Darlington will be better."
