Patrick Carpentier is riding high after his career best finish of 14th last week.

"I can't even begin to explain what last week's finish means for the LifeLock team," said Carpentier. "We just kept working like we did through the race. I can't say enough about these guys and Gillett Evernham Motorsports. We are getting better each week and their support is paying off."

This weekend the Canadian sets his sights on the second LifeLock sponsored race of the season at Chicagoland Speedway. Carpentier will be piloting the LifeLock Dodge and has never seen the 1.5-mile tri-oval in a stock car before.

PATRICK CARPENTIER:

"The LifeLock team seems to keep building each week. That was our goal. To just steadily improve our finishes and we've been doing that. We had a good run at Michigan then a better one at Infineon and now we've got a career best at Daytona.

"Looking ahead to Chicago, it's a track I don't have any experience on. But one good thing I have going is that I really enjoy racing on the 1.5-mile tracks, especially those with a little bit of banking like Chicago.

"The LifeLock team had a couple decent runs at the 1.5-mile track this year. And we're realistic we can continue those this weekend. Our goal is to continue finishing in the top 25. With all our friends from LifeLock coming to the race we're hoping to give them a good show."

* Carpentier will be driving chassis No. 256. Brand new chassis out of the GEM stable. Backup is No. 218.
