ANDY GRAVES, Senior Manager for TRD (Toyota Racing Development) U.S.A. in NASCAR Nextel Cup Series competition:

How has the test session gone for the Toyota teams? "All the teams are working hard on their test plans and seem to be gaining ground early in today's session. Lowe's Motor Speedway is one of those race tracks that makes dramatic changes from day to night so I feel like there will be even more to learn from the later sessions on these two days of testing. We are continuing to gain information from these test sessions that we are able to take back to TRD (Toyota Racing Development) and analyze prior to returning for the race in just a couple weeks."

AJ ALLMENDINGER, No. 84 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Team Red Bull:

How has your first visit to Lowe's Motor Speedway been in this test session? "I'm comfortable and that was the first thing that everybody told me to do when I got to this track. I've watched a lot of races here and been told how fast this place is. Just making laps here and getting used to the race track -- getting in the groove of that makes me happy about what we are accomplishing. As a team we still have a lot of work to do because the car is really tight. We've made some improvements and I think with me learning the track, the guys tried to make me more comfortable by putting more rear grip in the car. But now we're trying to overcome that and get closer to where the track is and how we need to run. So far we're working on my comfort level and we'll have more time over the next day to work on it and get better."

DALE JARRETT, No. 44 UPS Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing:

How has the test session gone so far for your team? "Testing has been going well. We seem to have a real good plan here and we've picked up time and made some differences with the car so now it's just a matter of working through all of that and we'll keep learning throughout this test session."

How have you and the team been adapting to the changes made with your team last week? "It's just a matter of using all the tools that we have right now and getting more of those tools to where we can have more things at our disposal. Right now we're just not using all of that. Toyota is helping us a lot in that respect and that's what we have to utilize. Getting Jason (Burdett) in here and getting him acclimated with everything, I think we already see some good things happening by bringing in his philosophy and he sees that this team has a lot to offer. Now what we need to do is utilize all of that."

JEREMY MAYFIELD, No. 36 360 OTC Toyota Camry, Bill Davis Racing:

How has the test session gone so far for your team? "We're learning some good things as we go along here in the test. We're just trying to gain on it as much as we can and get some good notes together so the guys can analyze them back at the shop and figure out where we can get faster when we come back here in a couple weeks. Like the other teams, we have a plan that we want to get through while we're here and that's the primary focus while we're at the track."

Is it difficult to jump between the car and the COT on different weekends and test sessions? "A little bit, but we're getting pretty used to it anymore as far as jumping in one car one week and then into the other car. I just wish we could stick with one car for the rest of the season because I think it would make it easier on everybody. Not only on the race teams that are building both styles of cars this season, but also on the drivers."

DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 00 Domino's Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing:

How has the test session gone so far for your team? "We have a test plan and we're just trying to follow through with it at this point. But we've found some things since the session started. We brought two new cars so we're just trying to stick with the game plan, but who knows what will ultimately help when we come back for the race. We'll just keep trying everything we need to and gather information. Things are going well though and I think we will have some great notes to take back to the shop and be able to get these cars where they need to be."
