Kenseth on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

"The 600 is the longest race of the season and it definitely presents challenges when you race that many miles. It's important to have a setup in the car that you can adjust as the track conditions change throughout this race since we start during daylight and race into the night. Racing in the All-Star race last weekend allowed us some added track time which I think we really needed since we didn't have our car handling the best we could have. I'm hopeful that after everyone has reviewed the data from last week that we'll have a car fast enough to stay up front and be able to compete for a win at the end."

Crew chief Todd Parrott on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

"Racing at Charlotte is always exciting because it's our home track since we're based here in Charlotte, so you always want to race the very best you can here. It's the longest race of the season and because of that we make sure that we have a car that will be competitive the entire race. Adjustability is the key to finding success during the Coke 600 since the track conditions will change a lot as the sun sets from the start of the race. Matt has had very successful races here at Charlotte and so I hope we earn another great finish for our team on Sunday."

Kenseth is currently third in the Sprint Cup Series driver point standings
