Sadler picked up one position in the point standings after a 13th place run last weekend
Elliott Sadler on Charlotte Motor Speedway: "I love to race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and I'm even more excited about going there after the run we had in California last weekend. Starting from the front row in Fontana was a real momentum builder for this team and then being able to follow it up with a top-15 finish put a nice finishing touch on things.
"Todd Parrott has brought an awful lot to this race team and I'm proud of all of my Richard Petty Motorsports crew for hanging in there all season long. We aren't where we should be, but I feel like we have improved tenfold during the last couple of months and that we have the potential to really finish this season out strong. It was fun to be at the track again last weekend and we've had some weekends where I wouldn't have been able to say that. This can be a grueling sport when things aren't going your way, but we've held strong and buckled down each and every week. I have high hopes for the potential of this team for these last six races of the year."
Crew Chief Todd Parrott's Thoughts on Charlotte Motor Speedway: "Charlotte is awesome. It's about 18 miles from my house and I get to sleep in my own bed. I love racing at Charlotte and it's the home track for a lot of teams. It's a fast place especially with the qualifying at night there. Elliott really likes Charlotte and he runs really well there. I think one of his last poles was in Charlotte back in 2004. I know that was a long time ago, but we're looking forward to getting another opportunity at it. We qualified well at Kansas - we qualified 15th - and we ran pretty well in Fontana, so we feel like there's certainly a lot of potential for us to have a really good race in Charlotte and a really good couple of weeks together before this season comes to a close."
Chassis History: The No. 19 RPM team has prepared chassis No. 710 for this weekend's event. This is the first time this season that this particular chassis will be utilized by the No. 19 team.
