TEAM CHEVY IMPALA SS - INSIDE THE GARAGE AT LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY, COCA COLA 600 -- ALBA COLON, GM RACING PROGRAM MANAGER NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES: "In the past heading in to the Coca Cola 600, our Chevy teams have had not only the data they acquired from the All-Star Race weekend but information gained during the traditional Lowe's Motor Speedway early May test as well. This year, that isn't the case with the no-testing policy which leaves crew chiefs and engineers with a lot of unanswered questions heading in to the longest race of the season.

"Based on what we saw in the All-Star Race excessive tire wear isn't going to be a concern on our Impala SS race cars, however, there are a number of scenarios that will play a significant role in who runs up front and contends for the win.

"Going from day to night, the track surface at Charlotte changes more dramatically than any other track on the circuit. The car that is the most "neutral" as the track changes will be ahead of the competition.

"Chevrolet has a winning history at Lowe's with more victories than any other manufacturer. I expect we will have several of our Team Chevy drivers in the thick of things for another win at Charlotte Sunday night."

Team Chevy drivers Kevin Harvick, No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Impala SS and Clint Bowyer, No. 33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Impala SS, will sign autographs for fans at Chevy Racing Display at 3:30p.m. Friday, May 22nd
