The Kodak MAX Film Race team struggled with a car which was loose on the entrance into the corners and tight off the exit of the corners during the 400 mile event on Sunday. Mike Skinner, driver of the No. 4 Monte Carlo, turned in a good qualifying effort on Friday. However, once the green flag waved on Sunday, the Chevrolet had an ill-attitude towards any adjustments made to it. No adjustments made by Chris Carrier and crew would help the handling of the machine.

Mike Skinner quotes

"The package on the car just would not handle. We have been making steps forward with the program and the pit stops. Chris Carrier and I will have good notes to build on when we revisit this particular speedway in a few months."
