TONY STEWART, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

"You don't want to be the first guy out after a delay like that. It's a disadvantage, but it's done off the draw and we just didn't draw a good number today. You hate to have it happen at a place like this, it's real important here. But I don't know, we'll see where we shake out.

"I'm pretty excited because we've got a cool, new paint scheme this week. This is probably my favorite race of the year, this night race. Like I said, we didn't draw a very good spot for qualifying and that kind of gets us behind the eight ball to begin with, but we'll race really good here no matter where we qualify. It's the same car that we've always run really good here with, and it's the same car we won here with last year with, so I'm pretty excited about this Home Depot Pontiac."

YOU'VE HAD A WIN AND A SECOND THE LAST TWO RACES THAT PUTS YOU RIGHT IN THE POINTS CHASE - DOES THAT GET YOU FIRED UP? "We've got a lot of racing left. You know from week to week how much the complexion of this deal can change. We'll just have to wait and see what happens."

BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 18 INTERSTATE BATTERIES PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

"That wasn't bad - just a little bit free on exit. Turn 4 on that last lap hurt us a litlle bit speed-wise, but before that, just a touch of a little tight, a little loose in places, but that's the best we've run here in a long time."

JOHNNY BENSON, NO. 10 VALVOLINE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

"I tell you what, everyone on the Valvoline Pontiac's been working extremely hard. This is the first time I've driven this car - it's brand new. Hopefully it's going to be pretty good. We usually would bring our other car here that we've run good with, but it ran so good at Dover that I didn't dare bring it. Now all we've got to do is decide where we're going to pit, front stretch or back stretch. I don't think I've ever started on the front stretch.

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO START UP FRONT AT THIS RACE? "We've started at the back and finished second here before, so it's pretty much still a case of things have to go your way and you've got to be able to stay out of trouble. I don't really care where we start, but obviously I don't mind starting up front. But we've run good here from the back, too, so hopefully we can get the car pretty good and we won't have to come up through the field."

YOU'VE HAD SOME REALLY STRONG RUNS THE LAST FEW RACES - DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR TEAM HAS TURNED THE CORNER? "I never really felt like we were way off. But unfortunately we've got caught up in a lot of different incidents throughout the year, and of course I've been hurt and out a lot. So I think it's been a good thing for us here lately, but there again, this is only qualifying today. We've got to worry about tomorrow night. That's our biggest issue. The last couple of races have been good for us, and hopefully we'll keep going that way."
