* Paul Menard will celebrate his 29th birthday this weekend at Bristol -- Friday, Aug. 21st

* Menard has completed 99.4% of laps he has attempted at Bristol Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (1997 of 2009 laps)

* Menard's best finish in four NASCAR Sprint Cup starts was last August when he started and finished the race from the 16th position.

* PEAK will be back on the hood of the No. 98 PEAK / Menards Ford Fusion for this weekend's Sharpie 500.

Menard on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:

"I really think we will have a pretty good car for this weekend's race at Bristol. Aside from being one of the coolest races of the year, I know the guys back at the shop and at Ford Racing have been looking into some new stuff for our short track program. If we can get a good qualifying run under us on Friday and earn some track position I think we'll be in a much better position when the race starts.

"Bristol, like Martinsville is one of those tracks where if you start near the back of the field, it makes your day that much harder because you have the leader behind you in only a few laps. I'm looking forward to a good birthday weekend and a great run in our No. 98 PEAK / Menards Ford Fusion."

Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:

"The most important thing at Bristol is to run a good qualifying run on Friday. That really sets the tone for the race on Saturday night. It's so important to have track position going into the race rather than having to find it in the race through pit strategy. We didn't have the best qualifying run in the Spring, but I feel like our program has some a long way since then. Hopefully it will be a good night of racing on Saturday in Bristol for the No. 98 guys."
