REED SORENSON (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger) -- 10th

"The car was a little loose, and if I could go out there again right now I think we could do better, but that should be good enough for a top 10. This is really the first time I've ever qualified here. It seemed like in the Busch races it'd either rain out or snow out qualifying, so we've got a good starting spot, and I love this track. I'm really looking forward to the race."

CASEY MEARS (No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Charger) -- 11th

"That was a decent lap. The car has been pretty good since we got here, so we'll get it ready to race in Happy Hour and see if we can get a good finish here tomorrow night."

KYLE PETTY (No. 45 Marathon American Spirit Motor Oil Dodge) --8th

"We kind of backed up what we did in practice. I'm not the best at backing up what I did in practice, so I'm always happy when I can do that. That was pretty good. These guys worked hard. We changed a couple of things and it worked good in qualifying. Bristol has been a pretty good place for us. Maybe the shorter the track the better. Maybe I should just run the shorter tracks because it seems like the shorter the better for me."

ELLIOTT SADLER (No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger) -- 9th

"We seem to be going good. I want to ride this ride as long as I can. I'm very happy with that. It was a little bit tight, but I didn't want to be loose. They tightened it up a little bit and it was a good lap. I got everything out of it. It was a great run. It'd be cool to get another top 10 starting position two weeks in a row. I scraped in turn two just a little bit. You can hardly see it. I had to use it all up to get a good run. It didn't slow us down. I didn't lift."

RYAN NEWMAN (No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger) -- 21st

"The car bottomed out real bad. It wasn't a good qualifying run. I think it'll be good for the race. We know what we need to work on in Happy Hour, so we'll go to work and get ready for the race."
