JOHNNY BENSON, NO. 10 VALVOLINE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

ON NOT HAVING ANY NIGHTTIME PRACTICE

"We didn't get any nighttime practice. But this morning is probably the closest and of course, we ran last weekend, which is going to help us a little bit. It [our setup] is going to be based more on those notes than it is on this morning's practice."

ON FINDING THE MISSING LINK TO GET TO VICTORY LANE

"We feel our program is decent. To pinpoint the area that we need to improve to get it done - it would be nice if we knew. We've had ourselves in a position to maybe win one or two races this year. We haven't gotten it done. But, maybe with a longer race [tomorrow night], we can get ourselves into that position at the 500-mile mark and then hopefully by the end of the 600 miles we can finish it off. It's just tough. NASCAR Winston Cup racing is very, very competitive. We haven't won that first one yet, but we've been close. We're real happy where we are in the points. I think once we break through and get that first victory, I think life will be a little bit easier for us."

ON THE INDY 500

"I'm sure with the extra interest in the Indy 500 this year, with Tony [Stewart] going up there, I'm sure we'd all like to see the start of it and watch it to see how the race progresses and see if he's coming back here or not. It's going to be interesting to see how it goes, both weather-wise and also the race. We wish him the best up there. I hope like heck he gets a little tired so he's not as quick at the end of this race."

TONY STEWART, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

ON YOUR FINAL THOUGHTS BEFORE GOING TO INDY

"I'm excited. We've got great cars at both places right now. That makes you more excited than anything. It's just a matter of going out and doing the job right now. We're at the point where we've talked about it long enough, and now it's time to go out and do it."

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MANAGE TO RELAX TONIGHT?

"I've got an autograph session this evening for Target, I've got a meet-and-greet tonight and then I'm going to sit back and watch races on TV. I've got a car running tonight (World of Outlaws, driver Danny Lasoski) and then close to home, they're running on TV tonight, too. There's plenty of racing to watch on TV tonight and that will probably relax me as much as anything will."

YOU CAN ACTUALLY WIN TWO WORLD OF OUTLAWS RACES TONIGHT AS A CAR OWNER AND THEN WIN TWO RACES TOMORROW AS A DRIVER, CAN'T YOU?

"With the rain here last night, we could actually pull that off. That will keep me pretty excited all by itself."

CAN YOU WIN BOTH RACES TOMORROW?

"Anything's possible."
