BARRACLOUGH NAMED CREW CHIEF FOR #38 RYR FORD
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 31, 2006) -- Robert Yates Racing announced today that Cully Barraclough will serve as interim crew chief for the #38 Ford driven by Elliott Sadler beginning at this weekend's Allstate 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Barraclough will serve as the head wrench after the departure of crew Tommy Baldwin. Baldwin's departure is a result of a mutual agreement between the veteran crew chief and RYR allowing Baldwin to pursue opportunities outside of the role of crew chief.
Barraclough has previously served as a crew chief in the Busch Series for drivers Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin. He most recently worked as a consultant for Clay Andrews Racing prior to joining RYR.
