FAST FACTS

* Travis Kvapil has recorded six Sprint Cup Series starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

* On Friday, Kvapil will be signing autographs at the Golden Corral in McDonough, Ga. (1755 Jonesboro Road, McDonough, Ga.)

* This weekend, Kvapil will pilot the No. 28 Golden Corral Ford Fusion in the Kobalt Tools 500. If Kvapil finishes in the top 10, kids under the age of 12 eat for free on Monday.

* In the Camping World Truck Series, Kvapil has recorded five starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway with one top-five finish.

Kvapil on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

"I'm looking forward to Atlanta because it's a fun track with multiple grooves that you can drive and it's a very high-speed track. I tend to really like the 1.5-mile fast tracks and Atlanta's one that definitely fits that mold. We missed the race last week which is tough for everyone and this weekend, we certainly need to rebound and try to get our team back in the top-35. I know that Ben and all the guys on the No. 28 Golden Corral team have been working really hard back at the shop and hopefully we'll have a great weekend for Golden Corral.

"Before practice on Friday, I'll be over at the Golden Corral in McDonough signing autographs and remember, if we finish in the top-10 on Sunday, all kids under 12 will eat for free on Monday. It should be an exciting weekend."

Crew chief Ben Leslie on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

"We are looking forward to a great weekend in our No. 28 Golden Corral Ford Fusion. We had a tough run last weekend in qualifying and are looking to redeem ourselves and show how strong this program is. Ford Racing and Yates have provided a lot of engineering support and have proven to be really strong over the years especially at these intermediate tracks."
