McMurray on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
"I really like racing at Atlanta because it has a reputation for being one of the fastest race tracks we race at each season and that makes for some pretty exciting racing. The speeds we carry into turn one at Atlanta is probably the fastest corner out there so handling is very important. We were able to bring home a top-10 finish last weekend at Las Vegas so that was a big boost to our IRWIN Industrial Tools team as we head into another 1.5-mile track. Our team has had some pretty great race cars so far this season, and we just continue to showcase our talent on the track, so I'm looking forward to Atlanta."
Crew chief Donnie Wingo on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
"Atlanta Motor Speedway is a very fast 1.5-mile track, but I really feel like this team has spent so much time preparing our cars during the off-season, that we stand another chance of securing a strong finish this weekend. We had a great run at Las Vegas last weekend and we were able to stay out of trouble and had a smart race for our IRWIN team that I feel like we have a bunch of momentum as we head to Atlanta this week. The car we're bringing was actually last raced in the Fall at Charlotte, where Jamie finished fifth, so we'll see what it can do for us at Atlanta."
* Jamie McMurray has 13 career Cup series starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In 13 starts, McMurray averages a 20.2 finishing position, and has four top-10 finishes at 1.5-mile track
