Jamie McMurray will run a special paint scheme featuring Irwin's Marathon Saw Blades

CONCORD, N.C. (May 17, 2006) - This weekend will be a first of many for NASCAR Cup driver, Jamie McMurray. The Nextel All-Star race kicks off two weeks of festivities beginning with McMurray's first All-Star race with Roush Racing and with Bob Osborne atop the pit box. This is also the weekend Irwin Industrial Tools will showcase a new paint scheme. Irwin Marathon Saw Blades will be proudly displayed on McMurray's No. 26, as he turns laps in the 2006 Nextel All-Star race. Like McMurray, Marathon Saw blades have great speed and amazing performance.

McMurray will be making his second All-Star appearance this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway. In just his second NASCAR Cup start, McMurray won at Lowe's Motor Speedway in October of 2002 - therefore making him eligible for the 2003 Winston (All-Star race). In his first All-Star appearance in May of 2003, McMurray finished 22, after being eliminated in the first segment of the race.

"This is a great event to be apart of. The All-Star race features the guys that really make it happen in the pits. I am still getting to know my Roush Racing crew - but they are great and have worked really hard on providing me with an amazing car this weekend. With the new track surface at Lowe's, it will make for some great, close racing this weekend," said McMurray.

"Marathon is known for extreme speed, durability, and performance - just what I need from Jamie and the Marathon/IRWIN Industrial Tools Ford Fusion this weekend at the All-Star race. I know we have a great shot at winning the race this weekend," commented crew chief Bob Osborne.

McMurray and the IRWIN team look to bring home the million dollar prize given to the winner of the Nextel All-Star race Saturday night at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
