EMCO Back As Title Sponsor of The "EMCO Western Series"
LONDON, ON - CASCAR and EMCO Corporation jointly announced today that EMCO will return as the title sponsor of the "EMCO Western Series". The touring series is the Western Canada's top level of stock car racing and visits Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. EMCO came on board as title sponsor of the series in 2003, and both EMCO and CASCAR are delighted to continue the relationship for the 2004 season.
"We were very pleased with our relationship with CASCAR last season," stated Graham Faulder, regional sales leader, Alberta, for EMCO Corporation. "The EMCO Western Series brings fans intense, exciting racing action, and we are very happy with the exposure and recognition we receive through our association with the series. We look forward to bringing that action to the fans once again in 2004."
In addition to their position as title sponsor of the series, EMCO is also the primary sponsor of the number 35 car of 2003 EMCO Western Series Champion Kevin Dowler, and associate sponsor of the number 09 car of Dowler's teammate Trevor Siebert.
Stock car racing has grown steadily in popularity in Western Canada in recent years, and in particular the high level of professionalism and intense action delivered by the EMCO Western Series has created a strong fan base for the series. EMCO's support of the series has been instrumental in continuing to provide fans with access to this level of performance in their own back yard.
"We are delighted to welcome EMCO back as title sponsor of our Western Canadian touring series," said Richard Coughlin, CASCAR director of sales & marketing. "With EMCO's tremendous support we are able to bring fans the most exciting stock car racing action in Western Canada. Our top teams are returning for the 2004 campaign, and some new faces are joining the competition as well. We are looking forward to a very exciting EMCO Western Series this season."
