Toronto, CAN - Team RaceSportz of Arnprior, ON and primary sponsor Carhartt Clothing recently announced an additional entry in the Vancouver round of the CASCAR SuperSeries. The number "8" Carhartt entry driven by series rookie, Marc Miller, will be attending the Molson Indy Vancouver over the July 26-28 weekend to help increase the presence of Carhartt Clothing on the West coast.
The Molson Indy Vancouver is the seventh of twelve stops on the CASCAR SuperSeries schedule and one of four SuperSeries events that Miller will be competing in on the 2003 schedule. "We are very excited to be able to add Vancouver to the schedule," said Miller, "Both Molson Indy events are very important to me as a driver and to our team and sponsors. We hope we are able to make a strong impact in CASCAR in my first year."
Team RaceSportz and Marc Miller will also be participating in a one week tour across Canada the week before the additional July 26-28 race date. The primary basis of the Canadian tour will be to stop at several Carhartt retailers to display the racecar, sign autographs and promote Carhartt's involvement in the CASCAR SuperSeries. "This program will definitely be exciting," said Miller. "To be able to represent Carhartt and Team RaceSportz across the Nation will be a great opportunity to build awareness for our race program and all of our marketing partners."
Carhartt Clothing is the leading work-wear and rugged outdoor apparel company in North America. Though they actively support outdoor sports, this will mark Carhartt's first year as the primary sponsor of a motorsports program.
