RANDY AND LUCIO ENJOYED THE CROSSBOW EXPERIENCE AT MISANO PRE-EVENT

The LCR Honda MotoGP Team returned to Misano on the Adriatic Coast for the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera this Sunday. The 4.226 km circuit hosts the 13th round of the season which is one of the most crowed race of the calendar thanks to the several Italian 800cc riders and thanks to the well-know seaside resort on the famous Riviera Adriatica.

Riding the Michelin-shod Honda RC212V Randy de Puniet is eager to perform at Misano after the bad experience of last race in Brno when the 27-year-old struggled for front feel throughout the whole week end. Randy and his Tem Manager Lucio Cecchinello enjoyed the crossbow experience today at San Marino's "Cava dei Balestrieri" and the 125 former rider won the competition ahead of many excited two-wheels fans.

De Puniet : "Brno was a bad experience for me and the crew but we must continue our job to find a solution for front grip. We tested some Michelin tyres there but we could not find any important improvement. So we decided to end that testing session early and proceed with our set-up work in here at Misano. I like the track and we need to work hard with HRC and Michelin to close the gap to the fastest riders. We need to avoid the troubles we suffered in Brno and I'm sure Michelin is working hard to find a solution for this weekend. We will have a lot of sponsors and friends here and I absolutely want to be more competitive like at Laguna Seca and Germany. I really enjoyed the pre-event we made with Dorna in San Marino. The crossbow is very interesting and the crowd was very warm".
