The provisional calendar for the 205 MotoGP Championship has been released by series owners Dorna and the race schedule sees no change to this year’s 18-round championship apart from the change of venue in the British Grand Prix with the series returning to its spiritual home of Donnington Park instead of Silverstone.

The series will get underway on 29th March under the floodlights of the Losail International Circuit for the Qatar Grand Prix before trip to the Americas, first in Austin for the Grand Prix of the Americas and then its onto Argentina and the Termas del Rio Hondo before the trip back to Europe for the traditional part of the championship with the traditional summer break remaining unchanged, as is Assen and the traditional Saturday race while the championship will wrap up in November in Valencia.
