Today, Dorna and Shanghai International Circuit (SIC), announced their agreement to run the MotoGP Championship for seven years.

The first race is set for 2005, along with the return of the U.S. GP in Laguna Seca. This move is further proof of the strength of MotoGP, which will not consist of 17 rounds (one more than last year).
