After a fantastic weekend in Australia, where they took both the Rider's and Constructor's Championships, the Repsol Honda Team are en route to Malaysia for the penultimate round of the 2011 Championship.

Casey Stoner was crowned World Champion after winning his home Grand Prix with two races of the season remaining. The 25 points earned in Phillip Island put him out of reach from title contender Jorge Lorenzo who was sadly ruled out of the Australian Grand Prix after suffering an injury in the warm up session on Sunday morning.

Repsol Honda riders Andrea Dovizioso and Dani Pedrosa are both still fighting for third position in the Championship with just four points separating them.

Casey, has won at Sepang in all the three classes, at MotoGP level on two previous occasions (2007, 2009) once in 250 cc (2005) and once in 125cc (2004), Dani having visited the podium four times in MotoGP has never managed to take the top step, although he has won in both 250cc (2004) and 125cc (2003) classes. Victory in MotoGP class also eludes Andrea, who has had four podium finishes at the Malaysian track, 2 in MotoGP (2010, 2008), 1 in 250cc (2006) and 1 in 125cc (2004).

CASEY STONER – World Championship Position: 1st with 325 points and New World Champion

"Malaysia is one of my favourite tracks, so I really want to get there and push 100% to try to win this race. We arrive very motivated after the race we had in Australia, a circuit which has always been difficult for me. The last two races are very important; I will fight to retain third position in the Championship even though I know Dani and some other riders will be also hard to beat".

ANDREA DOVIZIOSO – World Championship Position: 3rd with 212 points

DANI PEDROSA – World Championship Position: 4th with 208 points

"We now have a couple of days to rest and recover from the race in Australia and I'm looking forward to arriving in Malaysia. Sepang is a circuit I like and where we have had good results in the past. I won in 125cc and 250cc, but not yet in MotoGP and this is a very good motivation for me. The winter test in Sepang was good and we have some interesting data to start working with. I really want to do two very good races and finish the season the best way possible".
