Fourth fastest time set Cardion AB Motoracing rider Karel Abraham in the second free practice in Valencia. Overall he finished thirteenth.

Free practice sessions were affected by a changeable conditions. In the afternoon, when the conditions were variable, Karel Abraham set a best time of 1:47,079 and finished in thirteenth position. „Conditions in the morning were strange, half wet and half dry. Honestly, the worst possible combination. But I’m quite satisfied with 13th place,“ the twenty one years old Czech rider, who finished 1,566 seconds behind the fastest rider Casey Stoner, said.

Although rain disrupted the second free practice, Karel Abraham produced a fantastic performance and eventually finished fourth, just 1,046 seconds behind Alvaro Bautista. „Everything went well, but in the last lap I pushed too much,“ admitted Karel Abraham, who crashed few moments before the free practice session ended. „Fortunately, I’m okay,“ added.
