Karel Abraham expects challenging weekend at Sepang
Expecting the demanding conditions on the circuit at Sepang in Malaysia, Cardion AB Motoracing rider Karel Abraham is prepared for the penultimate race of his premiere season in the MotoGP class.
With 5 548 metres, the circuit at Sepang is one of the longest circuits in the MotoGP championship. „It’s an interesting track,“ Karel Abraham says. „It’s very demanding, especially due to high humidity and temperatures over thirty degrees. But all riders must be prepared for the race in these conditions.“
Only one point divide the twenty one years old Czech rider and Cal Crutchlow, who compete with Karel Abraham for the Rookie of the Year award. „This difference doesn’t mean anything,“ Karel Abraham, who crashed in the last race as well as Cal Crutchlow, but unlike him was able to get on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP11 and eventually finished in tenth position, continues. „I‘d like to finish in front of him again, but I‘d like to also beat the other riders because I’m not focusing only on this award, but also on my position in the overall standings,“ adds.
