The Cardion AB Motoracing rider Karel Abraham heads to the Pacific coast for the Australian Grand Prix which take place on one of his favorite circuits.

Final part of his first season in the premier class was affected by nasty crash that caused him slight concussion for which Karel Abraham was not able to participate in the race at the Motegi circuit.

"I spent the last two weeks by resting and training,“ the twenty one years old rider, who traveled from the land of the rising sun straight to Australia," [he] said. "We decided not to return to the Czech republic and instead we traveled directly to Australia. We did not have to get used to the different time zone."

Although the Phillip Island is one of his favorite circuits, Karel Abraham doesn’t want to make any specific predictions.

"Every track on a MotoGP bike is different," he emphasizes. With fifty points, Karel Abraham is now in the fourteenth position in the overall MotoGP standing, just seven points behind Cal Crutchlow, who compete with him for the Rookie of the Year award. "I would like to reduce this gap during the upcoming Grand Prix," added.
