MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has been given the all-clear to race in the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend.
The Honda rider broke the little finger of his left hand while training last weekend, and underwent minor surgery in Barcelona on Saturday.
On Tuesday the cast from his hand was removed and the Spaniard will be able to compete at Jerez.
"As you know, I fell during training last week and had the misfortune of breaking the little finger of my left hand. These things happen, we just have to deal with it," Marquez wrote on his Repsol blog.
"What's important is that the operation went well and after the medical check this morning, I'll be able to go to Jerez, which is what really matters to me, especially as it is a grand prix in which I can race in front of many of you.
"It's always an especially thrilling weekend."
Marquez will be partnered by Hiroshi Aoyama after teammate Dani Pedrosa ruled himself out of the race.
