Toni Elias will start from the front of the grid in his final Moto2 appearance tomorrow, following another determined performance in qualifying this afternoon. The recently-crowned World Champion did a great job alongside his team to set up his new Moriwaki chassis and he is in the ideal position to finish the season with a victory in tomorrow's race.

Toni Elias ( 1st 1'36" 141) "I am really happy to have taken the final pole position of the Moto2 season. We did it on the new chassis and that is important for the team. We struggled a little but the team worked well like usual and we did it. We have a good set-up for the race and I am confident we have the pace to do well tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a good start and come out with a win for the team, Moriwaki and my fans."

Vladimir Ivanov (32nd 1'37" 587) "After practice yesterday I was hoping for better than this but it wasn't to be. All I can hope for now is a good start and try to make up positions."

Fausto Gresini "It has been an exciting day for us today, with a front row for Simoncelli in MotoGP and now a pole position for Toni, which is fantastic. Toni worked really hard for it and he was determined to do it for us, for Moriwaki, for his fans and of course for himself. It was great and now we are hoping for the same result tomorrow. It would be nice to finish with a win but there is no point making predictions. We're happy with our season whatever happens tomorrow. "
