INTERWETTEN MORIWAKI Moto2 TEAM -- Tom Luthi's first practice better than in Qatar

The Grand Prix of Jerez de la Frontera in Spain started much better for the Swiss Tom Luthi than the first Grand Prix of the season in Qatar. Luthi finished the first free practice with the ninth position and was more satisfied than in Qatar. Also the conditions on the andalusian track changed so much since the test that he is happy with the result. Luthi hopes his improvement will continue tomorrow so he can start the Grand Prix on Sunday from a better position than the last one.

Tom Luthi, 1'45.352 - 9:
This first practice was much better than the last one. The conditions have changed so much since the test here in Jerez. It is very hot and we miss a little bit of grip, but I think that is the same for all the teams. In general I am satisfied with this session.

Terrell Thien, Team Manager:
We know the bike is working, the training was ok. The gap of 0.9 seconds still is a bit too much and we have to adjust some technical details tonight. The team is working very well together and my hope is big that we can improve even more tomorrow.
