GP of Indianapolis, FP1: good start for Corsi in 4th position

A good start for Team JiR’s US adventure: Simone Corsi ends the first session of free practice with a best lap of 1’46”885, that gives him the 4th position being only 0.157s from the fastest rider - Englishman Scott Redding. The Roman rider stayed within top 5 for the whole session and only in the last minutes of the 45 did he slip down the order a little. Either way, it’s a good start that gives good hope for tomorrow’s practice and qualifying.

There was progress also for Yusuke Teshima, who is in racing for his first time in Indianapolis and therefore needs some time to find the best lines and confidence with the machine. He ends up in 30th position with a time of 1’48”543. Tomorrow he will continue the MotoBI development work, testing a new frame and new aerodynamics solutions.
