FIRST PRACTICE IN LE MANS SATISFYING FOR TOM LUTHI

The first free practice of the Grand Prix of Le Mans was still one second too slow for Tom Luthi and his team, but it was just the first practice, which the Swiss and his team like to use for testing. The centre of attention at this practice today was the set up of the bike and the choice of the tyres. Both were satisfying and Tom could improve his practice time at the end of the session by some places already. For tomorrow the 24 years old youngster and his team know where to attack and where they can find the second that is still missing.

Tom Luthi, 9 -- 1'40.867:
We tried a lot today. The weather was good in Le Mans and also the track is in good conditions. At the beginning we still had some problems, but we could find a solution and I was faster straight away. At the end I could not improve further, but then we changed the front tyre and that was very good, now we can start working. We are on the right way and we have a very good chance to improve tomorrow again.

Terrell Thien, Team Manager:
We really tested a lot today and tried many different settings. Unfortunately we only have a limited number of tyres and we could not test as much as we wanted to. At the end we found a good tyre and we will start with this one tomorrow again. Then I hope we can find the second that is still missing.
