Today saw the first day of Free Practice at the Czech circuit in Brno, where the Moto2 World Championship will begin again following the summer break. Team JiR brought to the track the technical updates that have been developed during the holiday, with Corsi immediately up at the sharp end and with Teshima already being competitive during his first time at this circuit.

The Roman pushed hard from the beginning with a series of fast laps made at the start of the session and stayed in top positions for all the 60 minutes of the session, ending up in 7th. Today’s objective was to look for confirmation of the technical evolutions developed for the second part of the season, hence Corsi ran for 23 laps.

The same amount of laps were also recorded for the second rider and TSR’s developer, Yusuke Teshima, who used the early laps to understand the lines on this new track for him and then he concentrated on the testing work on his MotoBI.

During tomorrow morning’s free practice session the team will continue the fine-tuning work on the two machines preparing them for the qualifying session where it will be important to gain a good position on the grid.
