INTERWETTEN MORIWAKI Moto2 TEAM -- short but good first practice day for Luthi at Aragón

The first practice day on the Spanish racetrack at Aragón contained different than usual two practice sessions and went very well for Tom Luthi and the Interwetten Moriwaki Moto2 Team. Rain in the afternoon kept the second free practice shorter than expected and there was not much time left to test anything. But this is not meant to be a test weekend anyway, says Luthi. The base set up was the same as in Misano and also the rest should not be modified too much this weekend in Aragón and a ninth place in the morning and fourth in the afternoon already paid off this decision.

Tom Luthi, 4 -- 1'56.655 (FP2):

"We don't look bad here. The plan is not to change too many things this weekend. We want to keep a clean line and don't want to try around stuff. Until now this decision seems to be good."

Terrell Thien, Team Manager:

"We did not run many laps, the second practice was over when it started to rain. But it still looks not bad for us. We already had a good result on the first day today. We were not able to test all the things we had on the list, but that is not meant to be priority this weekend anyway."
