Dani Pedrosa will not go to Malaysia and his aim is to be back next week in Australia

Dani Pedrosa has pushed all of his options to return this weekend at the Malaysian Grand Prix until the last minute, but has finally been forced, given the condition of the recent injury to his collarbone, to put off his return to the competition. Now, his sights are set on the Australian Grand Prix, which will be held on Sunday 17 October at the Phillip Island circuit.

After fracturing his collarbone last Friday in the third lap of the first free practice of the Japanese Grand Prix and undergoing surgery on the multiple fracture to his left collarbone on Saturday at the USP Dexeus clinic in Barcelona, Dani Pedrosa has been pushing his rehabilitation since then to try to be ready for the Malaysian Grand Prix. However, the condition of his collarbone, the bruises he suffered in the fall and the lack of strength in his left arm and shoulder have forced him to take the difficult decision of postponing his return to the competition. Now Dani will work hard to be ready for the Australian race.
