Karel Abraham crashed out of the race at Estoril
The Czech motorcycle rider Karel Abraham crashed out of the race and did not finish the Grand Prix of Portugal.
Riding on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP11, Karel Abraham made a good start and battled with four other riders for 12th place. However, on the second lap he made mistake and crashed.
"In the left-handed turn I made a small mistake and started to brake a little later. Then I lost grip of the front tire and crashed," said disappointed Karel Abraham after his return to the garage of the Cardion AB Motoracing team.
Fortunately, medical examination showed only bruised hand and damaged nerves in the fingers.
Karel Abraham and his team Cardion AB Motoracing now stays on track at Estoril circuit where testing will take place tomorrow.
