RACIN BOYS TO WEB CAST O'REILLY CHILI BOWL NATIONALS
Kansas City, MO (November 22, 2005) - RacinBoys.com has been granted the rights to broadcast, via the internet, the 20th Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, January 11-14, at Tulsa Expo Raceway in Oklahoma. The Racin Boys, Scott Traylor and Kirk Elliott, are co-hosts of a popular Saturday morning grassroots motorsports show on 50,000-watt Sports Radio 810 WHB in Kansas City and have also broadcast numerous short track events on both radio and television.
The Racin Boys have anchored pre-and post-race programming on Sports Radio 810 WHB from Kansas Speedway since the track opened in 2001. Their weekly "Track Talk" show will originate LIVE from the O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals for the fifth consecutive year on January 14.
"We're very excited about the opportunity of describing the unique atmosphere of the O'Reilly Chili Bowl to internet listeners around the world," Elliott said. "Scott and I have attended and covered this great event for many years and are committed to do the best we can at providing the best coverage for those fans not fortunate enough to be there."
The Racin Boys plan to include many voices in the webcast, including much of what fans in attendance will hear over the track's public address system. Continuous updates and interviews will be provided during the racing program all four days.
"We have associated with a terrific company called Evenergy to assist us in putting this package together," said Traylor. "We will be making announcements in the coming weeks about corporate partners."
Scott Traylor has been a racer in the Kansas City area for nearly 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge as a driver, and car owner. He currently owns an ARCA team having competed at Kansas Speedway for the last several years, and has hosted radio and television shows for more than eight years. Kirk Elliott's involvement in racing has spanned nearly 35 years as a journalist, publicist and announcer.
