Kolles presents drivers for the 24 hours of Le Mans
The drivers' line up of Kolles for the 24 hours of Le Mans is completed. Christijan Albers, Christian Bakkerud, Christophe Bouchut, Oliver Jarvis, Manuel Rodrigues and Scott Tucker are going to steer two Audi R10 TDI at the legendary endurance race at the Sarthe.
Dutch Christijan Albers and Danish Christian Bakkerud already ran very successfully for Kolles in Le Mans and in Le Mans Series (LMS) in 2009. Both shared a cockpit at Le Mans and finished on 9th position at the end of the race.
Together with Audi factory driver Oliver Jarvis, who joined Kolles already last year for the Asian Le Mans Series in Okayama, Bakkerud could celebrate his first podium with position three. Jarvis, who is competing for Audi in German Touring Car Series DTM this season, acquired a taste for endurance races and indicated his interest in running at Le Mans with Kolles.
For the second try at the Sarthe, Kolles could engage the experienced Le Mans racer Christophe Bouchut. The 33 years-old man from France knows the feeling of winning at Le Mans as he already won the classic two times in 1993 and 2002.
Manuel Rodrigues (FRA/POR) and Scott Tucker (USA) are also experienced in endurance series. Both participated in FIA GT series and American Le Mans Series (ALMS) in the past.
Dr Colin Kolles: "I am proud to present our experienced drivers for the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2010. With Christijan Albers and Christian Bakkerud we already did a great result last year in LMS and our debut at the Sarthe. Oliver Jarvis ran for our team in Okayama and finished together with Bakkerud on an excellent third position. Having a two times Le Mans winner like Christophe Bouchut is also a great incitement for our team. Manuel Rodrigues and Scott Tucker are experienced drivers who come from FIA GT series and ALMS.
All in all, we have a strong team and our aim is to tie in the great results from last year when we finished in 7th and 9th position. We are all looking forward to the race in Le Mans and working hard to a make a step forward and overcome last years' achievements."
