The extremely challenging course is living up to its reputation -- with several cars spinning off the track into the gravel -- and the race is far from over.

A slick track early on added an additional challenge to an already difficult course, as rain fell for much of the early portion of the race. The track has now dried and drivers will be glad to hear that the forecast for tonight shows clear skies.

With six hours gone by and 18 hours still to go in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No. 33 HPD ARX 03B - Honda of Level 5 Motorsports sits ninth in the hotly contested LM P2 class, with driver Scott Tucker turning personal best lap times. The No. 33 was running third around the three-hour mark -- Level 5's highest running position thus far.

Level 5 Motorsports would like to express our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Allan Simonsen, who lost his life in a fatal accident early in the race.
