STUART MOSELEY RETURNS TO LE MANS IN BARAZI-EPSILON ZYTEK
Stuart Moseley, (31, St Ives, Cambs, UK) is set to drive the legendary Le Mans 24 Hour race in the same Barazi-Epsilon Zytek 07s as last year. This will be the Loughborough born driver's fourth consecutive Le Mans assault. 2008 saw the team finish fifth in the LMP2 class, equalling Stuart's previous best result. The team line up includes Juan Barazi, as last year, with French driver Roland Berville completing the line-up.
The main difference with the car this year is a switch from Michelin to Dunlop tyres but as Stuart drove the Barcelona round of the Le Mans Series in a Radical SR9 in April he has experience of the new tyre performance which gives him a head start. Stuart's other drives this year include the Radical European Masters which he leads with his MSW Racing team-mate Derek Johnston.
"I was hoping for a podium last year with it being my supposedly lucky third time but it wasn't to be so that's the aim for 2009. There are so many things that can happen in a 24 hour race so you've got to beat the race first before you can think about beating the competition. I think in our class the Porsches and the Lola Coupes are the main threats but in this race anything can happen."
