MorganWorks Race Team driver makes guest appearance at LA Autoshow
Malvern, England, December 16 2003 - Adam Sharpe, the 19 year-old star driver for the official MorganWorks Race Team, is set to make a personal appearance on the Morgan stand (Concourse C4) at the Los Angeles Autoshow on December 29/30th.
A regular partner of Works Team anchor Neil Cunningham throughout the 2003 season, Adam has impressed everyone with very mature drives under difficult race conditions, including a superb win at Brands Hatch in the British GT, and a solid session at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit 1000km race in November, where the pair drove the Aero 8 into a highly creditable 8th position in a world-class field.
Commenting, the up-and-coming young star driver said:
"I am really excited and honoured to be associated with the Morgan marque, and it's great to be able to be in LA to support the launch of the Aero 8 in the USA. The car really is an incredible drive, on the road as well as on the track, and I'm very happy to help tell the world about it!"
Visitors to the event will see the world debut of the new, American specification Aero 8 road car, and the stand will also feature a US-based racing Aero 8, courtesy of Tom Holfelder's Tiger Racing Team of Covena, LA.
Adam and Neil will be in action together on track during the MorganWorks Team's forthcoming American race outing at Sebring in March 2004.
