Millennium Racing skipping Le Mans test: Will they even race?

Millennium Racing is not taking part in testing at Le Mans this weekend.

Millennium Racing is one of the handful of teams skipping testing at Le Mans, but rumors are swirling that they could be missing a lot more than just testing.

Millennium has endured a tumultuous month leading up to this latest announcement. On April 28th, Motorsport.com learned that they had withdrawn their two Oreca 03-Nissans from the race. This LMP2 outfit skipped the first two rounds of the World Endurance Championship due to financial reasons as well.

On May 20th, it was revealed that the Lotus team would be unable to honor their invitation to the June spectacle. The team that took their place? Well, it was none-other than Millennium Racing. Their No. 22 Oreca 03-Nissan was chosen to replace the Lotus.

They planned to bring two cars to the test but now that they've suddenly cancelled those plans, questions have been raised regarding their commitment to the race. This Millennium Racing 'saga,' as some have taken to calling it, may end with this team not making the trip to Le Mans at all.
