Car no 26
Anthony Reid, Warren Hughes, Jonny Kane 5th Overall / 1st in Class
From 1600 hours: Anthony Reid handed to Warren Hughes @ 1745
Anthony Reid: "I can honestly say that the MG is the best racing car I've ever driven, it's a fabulous machine. There's a lot of traffic out there. Obviously as we're in a different class our engine isn't as quick but our speed around corners is very fast so it's very difficult to overtake. I'm really pleased how well the car is running, it's got good grip and if it continues we'll be in very good shape."
Car no 27
Mark Blundell, Julian Bailey, Kevin McGarrity 9th Overall / 2nd in Class
From 1600 hours: Mark Blundell handed to Julian Bailey @ 1745
Mark Blundell: "The start was good, no problems and the car's handling well. The track is quite slippery in places but the car is strong."
