- There were 99 cars asking for an entry - The ACO choose 70 cars, plus 6 reserve cars - From those 70 cars, 20 were invited to Le Mans in June (one gave up so that's 19 already supposed to come for the June qualifying) - The remaining 50 are required to prequalify, plus 6 reserve cars.

The cars are separated in 2 groups : Group 1: Proto WSC, LMP2, GT LM GT1, IMSA GTS, FIA Class 1 Group 2: GT LM GT2, FIA Class 2

This gave us, for the race in June 48 cars + 4 reserve : Group 1: 36 cars (17 invited + 19 prequalified + 3 reserve cars) Group 2: 12 cars ( 2 invited + 10 prequalified + 1 reserve car)
