REGULATIONS, ENTRIES, TRANSPORT THE AUTOMOBILE CLUB DE L'OUEST IS WORKING FLAT OUT FOR THE ORGANISATION OF THE 2011 ILMC.
On 29th November the ACO published the calendar of seven races on three continents. This week it has launched thepermanent accreditation process for international journalists who wish to follow the complete championship. On Friday 17th December the Club also unveiled the final version of the Le Mans 24-Hours technical regulations that will apply from 2011 onwards.
In addition to the Le Mans 24 Hours, the 2011 regulations also apply to the ILMC, the ALMS and LMS Series. The overall philosophy behind them aims at continually improving the following fundamental aspects: safety, environmental protection, a level playing field from both a sporting and technical point of view and cost capping.
The Automobile Club de l'Ouest sends the entry forms today to teams with the regulations. Entries for the ILMC and the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours are open from today Monday 20th December, and will close on 19th January 2011. The Selection Committee will meet after the closing date and will publish the list of entrants selected at the beginning of February.
The Automobile Club de l'Ouest will respect its undertakings given at the creation of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, and will provide the entrants in the ILMC with considerable help in the area of transport. This backing will be given to all, teams which use the transporter appointed by the ACO. By offering this help the ACO wants to provide all teams with the resources to enter for the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta, Georgia, USA), 1st October 2011
6 Hours in China (name will be given later depending on the location) 12th November 2011.
