Greaves Motorsport have successful pre-Le Mans Test at Snetterton
Greaves Motorsport completed a full day of testing at the Norfolk circuit of Snetterton yesterday. In changeable conditions that showed the extremes of the English springtime climate, the team ran through a full programme that tested car, drivers and crew.
Driving the team’s Nissan-powered Zytek Z11SN prototype, the Le Mans’ driver line up of Martin and Alex Brundle and Lucas Ordonez all completed several long runs without problems as did the ELMS regular driver, Tom Kimber-Smith. At times the rain was torrential, so the team gained valuable experience of running in the wet, this will be vital if conditions at the Le Mans 24 Hours are similar.
Team Manager Jacob Greaves commented, “We came to Snetterton with a list of objectives for the team and drivers to achieve and we have completed those. It is a bonus that we were able to run in conditions that ranged from dry to extremely wet, this will be very useful experience if it rains at Le Mans during the race.
