Corvette Racing, which races exclusively on Goodyear tires, has been among the world's most dominant teams in the sport of endurance racing the past two seasons. Corvette won the outright victory in the 2001 24 Hours of Daytona as well as the GTS wins at Le Mans and in the Petit Le Mans later the same year. In 2002, Corvette has already taken the class victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring.
