Le Mans. G-Force's mission was successfully accomplished. Both 'new' drivers, Jean-François Leroch and Ed Morris completed their compulsory ten laps and in the coming ten days can start concentrating on qualifying. Having competed in last year's race Frank Hahn is already qualified. On Wednesday 14th June at 19:00hrs the initial qualifying sessions will be held, and some four days later, on Sunday at 17:00hrs the 24 Hours of Le Mans will come to an end.

Under a glorious sky the Frenchman Leroch was first out on the track and had no problems in qualifying. "Notwithstanding several red flag interruptions, I was able to quietly work off my ten compulsory laps. Qualifying for this race is a dream come true", the Frenchman graciously told us after qualifying. Moreover Jean-François has fully recovered from his accident earlier this month and will have no problem competing in this gruelling round-the-clock race.

The young Brit, Ed Morris was also able to enjoy a relaxed lunch. After the serious crash some three weeks ago at Spa the team managed the impossible in bringing the car back into a full competitive state for Le Mans. "And the car is perfect", remarked the 18 year old Ed Morris emphasising the hard work put in by the team. "We experienced a few problems this morning with the paddle shift, but everything was quickly sorted out. We have succeeded, and that was today's assignment. We now need to concentrate on further improving the set-up and then it will be full focus on the race."

During the course of the afternoon Frank Hahn also got behind the wheel. The team owner wanted to clock up a few additional kilometres to be well prepared for the start. During the afternoon session the other drivers were able to work further on the set-up as also prepare themselves for the race. An engine problem at approximately 17:30hrs was a signal for the team to halt the session.

Therefore next rendezvous will be on Wednesday 14th June for the first qualifying sessions.
